Building materials, cables & plumbing

Sell by the bag, the length or the inch

Cement in the yard, rods in the warehouse, cable cut to length at the counter and a contractor who pays at month end. OPTISALE keeps all of it straight from your phone.

Sound familiar?

A roll of cable is not one item

You sell three metres off a hundred-metre roll, and by Friday nobody knows how much is left on it.

Stock sits in three places

Some in the shop, some in the warehouse, some on a truck. The number in the book matches none of them.

Contractors buy now, pay later

The credit is in a notebook, the notebook is at the counter, and the contractor says he already paid.

Built for building materials

Everything below is in the app today.

Cut-to-length stock

Mark a product as sold by length and the till sells it by the inch. What is left on the roll comes down with every cut.

Branches and warehouses

Stock per branch and per warehouse, with transfers and waybills that are checked at the other end.

Quotations that become sales

Send a contractor a quotation on WhatsApp; when he agrees, turn it into the sale without typing it again.

Credit with a signature

Sell part-paid or unpaid, record every instalment, and have the customer sign the balance on your phone or on a link.

Suppliers and purchase orders

Order from your supplier, receive what actually arrived, and the cost of each item updates itself.

Know what the day made

Profit on goods, expenses and money owed in one summary on your phone every evening.

Questions we hear

Can I sell cable by the metre or the inch?

Yes. A product can be cut to length: you set how long the roll is, and the till sells any length off it and keeps count of what remains.

I have a yard and a warehouse. Does it handle both?

Yes. Stock is kept per branch and per warehouse, and moving it between them is a transfer with a waybill the other side confirms.

Can contractors pay in bits?

Yes. Sell on credit, record each payment as it comes, and send a statement of what is left.
